"This project was our first Busy Bees purpose-built facility in North America, and we couldn’t be prouder that it is in the wonderful community of Goodyear,” said Mary Ann Curran, Chief Executive Officer of Busy Bees North America, as she emphasized the organization’s commitment to Goodyear and to providing families with innovative early years education and care. “We have a rich history of dedication to care and passion for early years education; our vision is to provide every child with the best start in life, and our mission and core values set us apart.”
“We stood on this site nearly a year ago as we broke ground on this facility and what a pleasure it is to see the dream become reality,” said Goodyear Mayor Joe Pizzillo as he delivered remarks, expressing enthusiasm for the new development, family-focused services, and Busy Bees’ investment in Goodyear’s growing community. “We are happy to know Busy Bees is filling a great need in our community and are thrilled families seeking quality early learning and childcare for their little ones will have such a great place to enroll their children. Your success is our success.”
Attendees enjoyed refreshments, pictures with Buzz, the Busy Bees mascot, and tours of the new facility. Visitors met with educators and learned about the school’s proprietary BeeCurious Curriculum, designed to foster curiosity and a love of learning in children from 6 weeks to 12 years old.
The building, completed by Caliente Construction, a woman-owned business since 1991, is a carefully thought-out and purpose-driven space, designed and crafted to foster creativity, exploration, and growth in young children. “This beautiful building was designed specifically to provide the best in early years care and education,” said Mary Ann Curran. “It is truly a space that engages our young children and encourages them to learn and grow at every stage.”
The opening of Busy Bees Palm Valley marks a new chapter in Busy Bees’ expansion across North America. With more than 225 schools in the USA and Canada, Busy Bees continues to set the standard in early years education by offering a nurturing, dynamic environment where children thrive.
