PHOENIX, AZ (June 10, 2024) Busy Bees, the world’s best and one of the largest early years education and care providers, announces the upgrading and rebranding of nine Valley Child Care and Learning locations throughout Maricopa County. For nearly 60 years, Valley Child Care Center has served the community with exceptional child care and has positively affected children’s lives across the Greater Phoenix area, and Busy Bees is committed to improving on this legacy. The schools will be the first Busy Bees to operate in the United States with additional Busy Bees schools planned for 2024 and in 2025.

“Busy Bees is thrilled to bring our exceptional quality early years education and child care to the families of Maricopa County and beyond,” states Mary Ann Curran, Chief Executive Officer of Busy Bees North America. “Our vision to give every child the best start in life is very clear. From our School Directors to our passionate teachers and our support staff, we are wholeheartedly dedicated to the children and the families in our schools, and we cannot wait to continue to share that with even more families as Busy Bees.”

In addition to a new name, the rebranding brings updated environments, improvements to the facilities, and implementation of the inspiring and proprietary BeeCurious curriculum. The BeeCurious curriculum framework cultivates a learning environment that promotes self-awareness, understanding of others, an appreciation for cultural diversity with a sense of global stewardship, and a strong connection to community and natural surroundings.

“Our rebranded Arizona sites display our commitment to the elevated standards of quality and education that Busy Bees represents,” says Samaya Khattak, Chief Education Officer of Busy Bees North America. “Our focus is and always will be on enhancing teaching practices and learning environments to support our high-quality proprietary curriculum, which fosters individual and group learning while aiming to give children the optimal start in life.”

To celebrate, Busy Bees invites families and the community to join us for a day filled with fun and celebration on Sunday, June 23rd from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Busy Bees North Phoenix, 3300 E. Union Hills Drive, Phoenix, AZ, 85050.
